Bandai 1/72 X-Wing

May 18, 2022 · in Sci-fi · · 9 · 1.6K

Decided to build another kit since I had so much fun on the last one I did. These go together really easily with no fuss which makes it a low stress build allowing me to focus most of my attention on painting and weathering. I decided to be a lil more creative and make up my own paint scheme since it is sci-fi and I don't really have to follow any historical accuracy . The kit was a little small for my liking though being as I'm used to building 1/48 WWII aircraft. The model was painted with Tamiya "LP" Lacquer paint line and hair sprayed chipped for the colored markings. Weathered with enamels and oils as usual. Thanks for looking

  1. Your focus on the painting and weathering is great, Jeremy @jmillan
Great looking, especially since this is 'just' 1/72

  2. Amazing result, Jeremy!

  3. As dirty and worn as a rebel space ship should look.

  4. Looks better than the movies! 🙂

  5. I'm not a big sci-fi enthusiast but I love a well-weathered anything! Looks great!
