Very cool Tom, and great workmanship from Bill. I recently secured a Czech Model A-8 in 1/48, and have been considering giving it a go. There is a certain appeal to these early aircraft that is hard for me to express. Bill's model looks very tidy, and does well to capture the unique qualities of this airframe. Thanks for sharing!
I don't know how long it took Bill to do the interior @brithebuilder.
Bill "lurks" here, and he asked me to thank all of you for the very nice comments about the model. As he said in his email: " I am always humbled by the abilities that pop up on the site. Inspiration every day!"
I misunderstood. I thought this was your build using vacuum formed parts from Bill.
I absolutely agree with Bill's comment though. I am continuously humbled and inspired by the builders/modelers/makers/painters on this site as well.
Thanks Tom!

A stunning result from such unlikely material.
Thatâs super cool! A true talent.
Great build! Thanks for sharing this with us, Tom.
A wonderful result indeed!
You are correct Tom. After looking at the pictures I look at my hands and see only thumbs.
That's some scratch building quality. I wish I could build like that.
Amazing work done.
Especially that interior looks quite impressive.
Outstandingly awsome!
That is a very impressive build , thanks for sharing .
That is an impressive one, that's a LOT of complex shapes to get right. Deep bow.
@tcinla - Great work Tom! How long did it take to scratch build the interior? The detail looks quite amazing...

Amazing. Not only vacuform, but scratchbuilt vacuform đâșïž
Wow - amazing project, and such a cool aircraft.
Fantastic work with this unusal machine! I guess it was a terrible flying junk?
Au contraire! It became better s the A-12 with a R-1830 radial, it was the first dedicated 'modern" attack plane.
That's some real modeling skills! I am not worthy!
An absolute stunner and a display of true craftsmanship. And I always liked the look of the Vulture engined variant.
Bill is an artist!
Scratch build galore,beautifully done!
Wow! I wouldnât even know where to begin. Thatâs a disaster waiting to happen on my bench!
Wow. Just wow! Incredible model and subject.
