1/32 scale Dauntless kit by Trumpeter
Here we have my 8th build of the year, the 1/32 scale SBD3 Dauntless by Trumpeter. Molding is exceptional, body and cowl are clear plastic for some reason, which I find useless. The instructions are typical Trumpeter, filled with mystery and mistakes which is always the case in my experience. If you have experience with Trumpeter and Hobby Boss kits you will end up with a very nice build.

Nice job on all those details - with that large canopy, the Dauntless gives a modeler a chance to show off interior work that usually gets lost on other subjects! Well done.

The reason this kit is so wonderful (and - wow! - what a great job you have done with it) is because Trumpeter got smart and up-sized the Accurate Miniatures kit.
