Curtiss CW-22B
Here's my CW-22B from Dora Wings in 1:48. It was a fairly easy build, it just needed a little thinning of the cockpit tub at the rear for a good fit. I used a section of an old bomb to make a spacer between the engine and firewall, as I didn't care for the engine mount provided with the kit. It can't be seen anyway, and the engine was much easier to deal with. I added Eduard belts, wired the engine, added brake lines, and painted with my mix of Tamiya colors to match a picture I found of CF-465 and CF-466 in formation. Another one of Dora Wings better offerings.
Love it. Haven’t seen many builds of this aircraft
Nice work, Chas. I enjoyed that one too.
Excellent result on a really great modeling subject, Chas!
Well done!
Beautiful result on this not so often seen subject, Chas @chasbunch
Love to see it in Dutch markings.
Your work is excellent Chas. I like the backgrounds you use for your photography.
That looks really good, Chas.
Nice build, Chas.
Now that's an unusual bird! Nicely done - looks great.
Neat and clean with an excellent paint job, Chas. Thanks for the tip about the engine spacer/mount. Congratulations on completing suchan outstanding build!
Great job Chas. It turned out awesome. I really like those lesser known Curtiss aircraft. It's cool someone is producing kits of stuff like this.
Well done Chas, of a Curtiss A/C that never quite made the A Team.
I have the CW-21 from DW which I will build someday. Nice work on this CW-22
Nice to see this beautiful rendition of a "combat trainer" from Koninklijk Nederlandsch-Indisch Leger (KNIL).
Nice pictures too, with that background added.
Love it; now even more keen for mine.
Beautiful work, a very rarely seen model.
