G.W.H. 1/48 T-33A Shooting Star
GWH's Shooting Star is a very nice kit. It featured finely recessed panel lines and is relatively simple to build. Some shape anomality was attributed to the tail unit. The front nose cover part requires sanding to fit with the rest of the fuselage.
Very nice build Rafi. I have a soft spot for the T-33 having gotten a ride in one (actually a Canadian CT-133) once.
Thank you Jim.
Another superb result out of a fine kit, Rafi!
Well done!
Thank you Spiros!
A fine looking Shooting Star, Rafi @blackmopane
You clearly showed why this is one of the nicest early jets.
Thank you John.
Really nice work on this Rafi. I gotta get one of these.
Thank you Tom.
And, it was not expensive.
Very fine work, Rafi @blackmopane! 👍
Thank you Gary.
Very nice job! 5th Fighter Interceptor Squadron "Spittin' Kittens". They had two F-106's deployed from Minot AFB, ND on ADC alert at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ in the late 1970's while I was stationed there as an A-10 Instructor Pilot. It was fun watching them scramble off alert...especially when they would rotate home every weeks...a two-ship in full A/B blasting over downtown Tucson!
Thank you Tom.
Great memories!
Gorgeous finish quality Rafi, and and interesting scheme too!
Thank you Andrew!
Excellent paintwork Rafi. I really like these old jets.
Thank you Jarmo.
Great build - I especially like the patina of the NMF - it looks very realistic to me.
Thank you Greg.
Well done, a great looking T-Bird!
Thank you Chas!
Excellent T-Bird!
Thank you Dan!
Well done, Rafi (@blackmopane). NMF is great, and the interior looks really convincing. One of my first flights in a military plane was in a T-33.
Thank you George.
By the looks of the design, you probably enjoyed flying this aircraft.
Awesome build Rafi. Love the early jets. 👍
Thank you Guy.
Nice T-bird, Rafi.
Thank you John.
