the floating canopy on the cockpit of 's quarter scale Kanonenvogel is one of many items require corrections during the build. The kit boasts with accurate dimensions and crisply recessed panel lines. Yet, the design takes many shortcuts to ease the production of the mold on the expanse of the builder. Wrong attachment of flaps and ailerons to wing, missing actuators and improvised D variant wing are only few of items that require corrections.

I detailed the missing cables, pipes and magazines of the big guns.

  1. Looks great. About 50 years ago I built the 72 scale version (Revell?).
Surprising to me: the ups and downs of the serial number and the yellow "V" that stretches from the lower to the upper side of the left wing. Never seen this feature before.

  2. Excellent result on this StuKa, Rafi @blackmopane
Especially the extra work on the canon connections is amazing.

You made a very fine work over the base plastic Rafi. The main shortcomings of this kit are mostly the wings a even more the extended tips (which I believe is the case of your model here, a G-2 not the shorter wing G-1 model based on the D-1/3 production models) and also the lack of detail in the back of the nose radiator. Thumbs up !

  4. Excellent tank buster! The extra work on the guns is nice.

  5. Great looking Stuka, Rafi...nice job!

  6. Superb job and a serious departure from the base kit, Rafi!
    Well done!
