Bandai RG 1/144 RX-78-2 GUNDAM ver2.0
I built the RG Gundam 2.0 that has just been released.
It is a well-made kit, so I only made some modifications to make it more to my liking.
The main modifications were to extend the legs and waist front armor, offset the ankle connection axis, change the chest surface configuration, sharpen the chest ducts, and add details to the head main camera, intake, and vulcan.
Various commercially available decals were used.
Not an area of interest but this looks very cool
Thank you, I am glad you liked my work.
You did really well on this build, Dagored @dagored
Thank you very much.
Excellent job and really fine result, Dagored!
Thank you for everything.
That is a cool looking build! Are the joints articulated or are they glued in place? That is a genre of modeling that I have been wanting to try out. Your build is inspiring - thanks for sharing!
The range of motion of the entire body of this RG Gundam is comparable to that of an actual human body. Due to the high possibility of paint peeling off, only the standing pose is shown in the images.
The fit of the parts in a Bandai kit are so perfect. No glue needed. I usually build airplane kits but my grandchild wanted one of these built. It was a fascinating, fun diversion. We always learn something with every kit. These are a lot of fun. Yours is quite well done!
Thank you for your comment. This kit is a wonderful thing that you can enjoy assembling itself with the ingenuity in each part configuration.
