Hasegawa 1/48 A-4E/H IDF
Early Skyhawk variants used in the IDF included the E and H models. The H variant had an upgraded J-52 engine together with improved avionics and 30mm guns instead of the 20mm guns. In addition, a rear cover on the engine exhaust pipe was installed to reduce heat signature and absorb blast damage form heat seeking missiles, such as the SA-7.
Beautiful work. Thanks for posting pix of this excellent model.
Thank you Marvin.
Fantastic job, superb painting and weathering, Rafi! Love all these sub-type details!
Thank you Spiros!
Nice Skyhawks, Rafi. The H is an interesting variant.
Thank you John.
My favorite, though is the N version.
Great looking Skyhawks. Loving the IDF content! I have Col Dotans Skyhawk in my stash.
Thank you Neil.
Yes, the exceptional kill with air to surface rockets..
Superb build of this Skyhawk, Rafi @blackmopane
A top build in this scheme and all those details.
Thank you John!
Wow Rafi @blackmopane, that is some amazing work! Can you tell me which paints you used, I'm going to be starting on a Kfir soon...
Thank you Ian!
I mix my own paints. It seems that Mig's desert IAF set is popular here, so I guess that it does the job.
Excellent paintwork on this one!
Thank you Greg!
