Classic Kit: Lindberg 1/72 Me410
Well, I finished another classic kit. This the 1/72 Lindberg Me410 which first came out in 1966. Lindberg issued many Luftwaffe kits that no one else did at the time. For this I didn't add missing details since I wanted it mostly out of the box. I did make a new canopy to replace the original which split down the center, and I also added a floor and spare seat. It's not a bad kit and looks the part when finished. It is airbrushed with Tamiya and AK, and Mr. Hobby paints. I had a lot of fun with it and I hope you enjoy seeing this ancient kit from long ago. The parts photo I culled from the web.
Excellent result from this classic kit, David!
Well done!
thank you Spiros! I really appreciate it.
Nice job!
Thanks! I enjoyed it.
That’s a great looking model ! You did a great job on it. I enjoy seeing these old kits posted more than the newest ones.
Thank you Jay. It's a lot of fun to build them and also to see other's versions as well.
Great job Dave, I always like the way this kit looks when finished.
Thanks Bob! I saw your Matchbox F-5, but can't comment, since I'm in FB jail.
You turned this oldie into a wonderful Hornisse, David @thevid
Well done.
Thank you John!
Nice seeing this built, David. I built a bunch of Lindberg kits as a kid.
Thank you! I only built a couple as a kid, the HE100 and the P-51B. I need to redo them all.
Wow! Very nice job with this vintage (bare bones) kit.
Thanks! It certainly is a simple kit.
I love your posts of classic kits! Thanks for posting this gem.
Thank you Bob. I'm glad to hear that.
A classic kit nicely brought to life! Love it.
A ‘Lovely Lindbergh’ kit, nicely built!
Great job overall, and also on that canopy.
