Fujimi Honda Super Cub 110 1/12th
After a few months of trying to put my life back together, i decided to jump back in with this cute little kit.
But first I want to thank all of you who reached out to me with your condolences about my husband’s death. And I apologize for not getting back to all of you. It’s has and will continue to be a rough road for me. Things continue to be difficult and today (Christmas) was no exception.
I have had this kit about a year now, I thought it was cute, also thought it was to be painted. It’s an advanced version of a snap tight with everything molded in the proper colors. So it was a good kit to get started on again. I also did the Franzis 1/3rd Porsche Carrera Racing Engine, photos for that in another post.
It was a simple kit I painted the wheels because I thought they would looke better and I added some Panel line detailer in spots
Great to see you back, Cricket, and you’ve done a terrific job on this Fujimi kit. All the best for 2025.
@chinesegeorge Thank you George, sorry for late reply…been trying to keep busy! It was a fun little kit, good to get started again in the hobby
Happy Holidays Cricket! What a way to end the year with that Honda!
@eb801 Thank you Eric, the holidays were bittersweet, it was a fun little build
In that weird way that the internet connects total strangers, we can only say that we're here for you (whether to empathize, sympathize or pray for)... I'm glad to see you back at it, truly. I pray you can find peace.
As for the bike, I love that little Cub. A cute model of a tiny but prolithic seller worldwide, a model that has impacted so many.
I'm looking forward to seeing what's next. 🙂
@pb_legend Thank you Andrew, peace is indeed elusive, it comes and goes I suspect it forever now. I love to have one of those little bikes now w fuel the way it is 😉
Nice work on this model, @bikequeen !
Glad to see you back !
@ssgt Hey Jay, thank you for the comments. It’s good to be back, going to take awhile to get into full swing
Models are a good distraction !
Yes they are…but in my case also bittersweet but I shall persevere
Excellent Super Cub, Cricket!
What a great way to end a difficult year.
As Andrew said, though we are strangers physically, we are connected through the net and we are here for you.
All the best for 2025!
@fiveten Thank you again Spiros and thank you from checkin on me all these months, it is indeed a unique world, the internet, people from around the world sharing a common hobby, and good things and sad things, I feel you are all my extended family from around the world
Glad to see you back after such a difficult year, Cricket @bikequeen
Remember that we will always be there for you in the best possible way.
The Super Cub is a great looking model, well done.
Wishing you all the best for 2025,

Glad to see you at the bench again. Keep the bikes coming.
@coondog thanks so Much Matt, I have spent that last 4 month cleaning the house, shed, garage and property and now winter is here with a vengeance so what’s a girl to do? BUILD 😉
Alright! 👍 Good to see you here again, Cricket and that's a real looker there! 👏
@garybrantley Thank you Gary…glad to be back
Nice to see you back, sniffing the glue!
One of these, was the first bike I owned, as a kid! It was a 70cc and was stripped for grass tracking. Me and my buddies, spent many hours on this, and a tank full of petrol (gas), was 50p! Those were the best days of my life!
You've done an awesome job with this. I might have to get one myself, to recreate my old ride 😉
Hey Boz! I wish I had one now…I will be back now but winter has but a damper on things….posted a couple other things on the headlines over the last few days…have a look
She’s baaaaaaaaack! 😉. Way to get your mojo back on Jaimi. I know what’s in your future builds and can’t wait to see that resin monster you have sitting in the queue. Even your snap together bikes are top notch!
@dion-dunn Thank you Sir! There are 2 resin monsters in the queue now, but I need to get my feet wet again before i tackle them. I joke a lot about this being all your fault but you have truly given me the confidence to take this skill to the next level so thank you for that
