Tamiya 1/48 Mosquito FB. Mk.VI
The Banff Strike Wing was formed in late 1944. Its main tasks involved striking shipping and land targets along the Norwegian coast.
Good close up photographs of Mosquito aircraft from the 143 Squadron are a good source of modelling of the elegant aircraft in and attractive grey camouflage and yellow spinners combination.
Yet another one of your fantastic Tamiya Mosquitos, Rafi!
Congratulations!
Thank you, Spiros!
Another superb Mossie, Rafi.
Thank you, Tom.
Excellent result, Rafi @blackmopane
Very nice work on that grey camouflage.
Thank you, John.
beauty Mosqui !
Thank you, Davide!
Very neat Rafi. Super build and finish .
Thank you, Guy.
Super Mossie, Rafi. To my eye, you got the weathering just right. I always struggle with that.
Thank you, Scott.
In this case, pre shading was the main weathering technique.
Great work, and love that 2-tone grey scheme with the yellow accents. I may need to look for decals for a 1/72 build of one of my Mossies...
Thank you, Greg.
Extradecal has the scheme for 1/72nd scale with red spinners.
