Found these two on the web, at a reasonable price. I have noticed of late that prices have gotten way out of hand. I bagged these with shipping for around 20 dollars US each. Some listings , for the TBD goes for three times as much or more.
Pretty cool Robert. I had no idea MPC was "part of the fun group at General Mills". Come to think of it, I do recall knocking a bowl of Cheerios and milk all over my WIP MPC car kit when I was a wee one.
Nice catch Robert!
I also recently found a bagged MPC/Airfix TBD-1 in a pile of ‘pre-owned’ kits.
Those kits will need some additional TLC but will look great once completed.
Lucky you, Robert!
Those are two wonderful "oldies"!
That is a good score, Robert @roofrat
Very acceptable prices.
Great finds, Robert. I built a few of each when I was a kid. I think the TBD would be an excellent subject for Airfix to retool in 1/72.

Wow, Robert, that brings back some memories! But they sure didn't cost 20 bucks back then...
Seems like all those oldies go for almost as much as a new modern kits. Everything is “Rare “or” Vintage”.
Man I loved the profile series kits!
Well spotted Robert!

I've got both those kits, though I think I paid less than $5 each! (you are right, prices have definitely been on an upward trend for good old kits).
I'm rebuilding some of these now with better paints and aftermarket parts since I can't find them either!
Nice catch Robert. I always like the MPC Profile series.
