B 24 J scale

The model is an ,assembled from the box, only signs and serial numbers are self - produced.

The model represent a SAAF aircraft used to launch supplies to the partisan formation operating in the medium -high piedmont...in october 1944 ,precisely between the night of 12/13 .

The weather was overcast after having circled unexpectedly for a clear spell for a long time,no one knows why the plane crashed over the mountains of Rora' ( Luserna San Giovanni) in the province of Turin, upper pinerolese.

That night.out of 16 liberator sent,10 returned...5 crashed into the mountains, and one probabily fell into the ligurian sea ( of wich no traces were ever found)

to build the model it took me at 50 hours, half which only dedicated to painting.
