Honda CBR 1000 RR-R Fireblade SP
Was going to steal stuff about this bike off the web bit @chinesegeorge George pretty much said it already in his recent headline post about his Fireblade.
I choose to go with the Matte Pearl Morion Black finish. Painted with Tamiya's Metallic Black Spray TS-40.
I added the Tamiya Detail-up fork set
My favorite part was the front fender painted with Tamiya Gloss Black Spray can
A little bit of Tilt Shift work on this photo 🙂
It was a great build I highly recommend this kit to anyone interested in Motorcycle kits, it's also one of Tamiya's newest kits. It was interesting to see how they have progressed as a company over the decades.
The Metallic Black is a fantastic color and the decals offered a very subtle touch to the over all finish.
Thanks for viewing, you can see more of my bikes on the motorcycle group, Cricket AKA @bikequeen 🙂
Another great addition to your stable.
@coondog Thanks Matt 🙂
It looks great here in the headlines, Cricket, and equally great in your garden, the outside photos set it off beautifully.
@chinesegeorge thanks George I’m happy with it 🙂
A superb result, Cricket! An awesome build thread, too!
Congratulations!
Thank you Spiros
That outdoor shot makes your already impressive bike build even more so. Well done!
Thank you @eb801 Eric
You can't kid me! Those last shots outdoors are a real one! 🙂
Ok @tcinla .;. Im’ busted they are indeed real….all 6 inches of them 🙂
Definitely one of your best builds, Cricket @bikequeen
The painting and all the extras you put into this one are really great.
Glad you decided to put it on the headlines.
@johnb thank you John, i enjoyed it
@bikequeen - Fantastic work Cricket! As always!
@brithebuilder Thanks Brian! IT was a good build…love the Metallic Black 🙂
Another winner, Cricket (@bikequeen). I agree with Tom, these look like shots of a real motorcycle. Well done.
@gblair Thanks George, as @chinesegeorge said “taking phots is almost as much fun as building them” 🙂
As a regular visitor of model conventions, I am always amazed of the precision that goes into the scale world of motorcycles. Also the after market is stunning.
Cricket, your bike looks well finished and impressive. besides that, very clear pictures to go along with the article.
Regards from The Netherlands.
@orion Thank you Dirk! High honors! Appreciate the comments!
Well done. Cricket! Well done. Excellent result and LOVE the progress shots. Terrific.
