Pacific Coast Models Hawker Hurricane I (1/32 scale)
My model depicts F/O Richard Brooker climbing aboard 56 Squadron Hurricane P3153 at North Weald in August 1940. The kit is quite accurate though challenging to build, but I used the Brian Fawcett additions of a “dog kennel”, the area of the fuselage immediately behind the cockpit, and nose section. The spinner and prop blades are AIMS models additions. The pilot figure is by Black Dog but the head is from my spares box and hands are from Hornet models.
Love it...but then you have to...its a Hurricane ❤️
Amazing work!
"Euthenasia" I love it. The pac Coast Hurri is a good kit, and you have aced it. The pics are fun too. Where did you get the starter cart, if I may aks.
Wow ! This Hurricane looks great !

Thank you all for your kind comments, the Hawker Hurricane is my favourite aeroplane of all time, which is one of the reasons why I treated myself to a flight in one last May on my 75th birthday!
Bill, the trolley acc is by Iconicair.
Another Hurricane coming very shortly, this time Revell’s new tool Mk IIB, finished as a Hurribomber of 175 Squadron.

What an awesome build, Max @maxw
The you took those pictures make it look very realistic.
And what a wonderful birthday you had, flying in a real Hurricane, amazing.
Sharp Hurricane, Max. Xtracolor paints for the camo?
All MRP paints, the only ones I ever use. Spray straight from the bottle…easy.
Very nice work on a kit that is "challenging" to say the least. Great work, Max.
And you're a lucky dog indeed with that birthday present. 🙂
That is a great model, and a wonderful 75th birthday present! 🤩 Too cool, Max @maxw! 😄
This is spectacular. The build is to- notch and the figure I really sells it.
Nicely done!
