Night attacker Stuka
Towards the end of WWII Ju 87 aircraft were converted to night operations. The Ju 87D-8 were equipped with exhaust flame suppressors. Most of the night operating Stukas served under1./NSGr.9 in northern Italy and retreated to Austria until capitulation.
Many night attacker Stukas had elaborated Wellen Münster camouflage patterns. This Hasegawa 1/48th scale model was painted with RLM 76 swirls over the splinter camouflage.
Rafi, Great looking Stuka and very nice paint work. How did you ever achieve those wiggly white camo swirls ?
Thank you Terry.
Freehand airbrush.

A really nice Stuka, Rafi @blackmopane
The camouflage pattern is very impressive, must have taken you quite some time to get it done this nicely.
Thank you John!
Another superb model, Rafi, this time a wonderful Stuka!
The scheme is striking and you have replicated it perfectly!
Congratulations!
Thank you Spiros!
G’day Rafi (@blackmopane),
I love these individual schemes and have done something similar on a Do 217.
They can be teedious to paint but well worth the effort.
A grate build over all.
Lined!
Thank you Michael!
