Devastator Floatplane
GWH's 1/48 TBD is a complex kit. The fit of parts is very good, and the detailing of panels and cockpit components is satisfactory. On the downside, the kit lacks a dolly. Moreover, there are many small, photoetched parts to add. The majority of them do not make a substantial difference to the detailing of the model. References are required because the instructions are misleading in terms of wrong numbering and placement, particularly photoetch parts. Also, some components of the wheeled Devastator do not appear on the floatplane, such as antenna mast, sight, rear machine gun and the arresting hook.
The result is absolutely superb, Rafi!
Congratulations!
Thank you Spiros!
Another excellent build, Rafi @blackmopane
This Devastator looks wonderful on floats and in NMF.
The painting is very realistic as usual.
Thank you John.
I agree. I built the float less TBDs, and they make less impression.
That's a very interesting variant - great work and nice model.
Thank you Christopher.
Super work and a great result on something you will definitely "not see every day."
Thank you Tom.

Well, well done, Rafi. Complex appears to be an understatement, at best. Again, great job!
Thank you Gary!
Great build with highly realistic finish. A winner for sure, Rafi.
Thank you Bob!
