A challenging oldie model that combines considerable amount of detail and the crude Monogram mold. Eduard exterior set helped to shift the balance from the crude plastic to the fine details.
Fine looking P-61, Rafi - nice job! I remember trying to build the same Monogram kit many, many years ago as a teenager; between impatience, my skill level, and Testors modelling glue I'm pretty sure I gave up. I remember it being a very difficult model.
Well done on this beast, Rafi.
Thank you Gary.
This looks amazing, Rafi @blackmopane
Very nice to display this Widow with all those hatches opened.
Thank you John.
Great job, Rafi. You made that old kit look amazing. Thanks for sharing this one.
Thank you Marvin.
Excellent job on a challenging kit, Rafi! The result is imposing!
Congratulations!
Thank you Spiros!
Fine build & finish on this old oldie. A challenging labor-of-love, no doubt.
Thank you Bob.
Yeah, that's a tough build! Well done!
Thank you Rob!
Looks familiar - I built that kit in that scheme sometime during the last ice age. You got the max out of that old beast - well done!
Thank you Chas!
That's a triumph of talent and stubbornness over plastic for sure.
Thank you Tom.
This is bugging me, where did you put the weight to keep the plane on all three?
I used the models transparent base part. It is hidden in most photo angles. The few that had it, I erased it with Photoshop
I always enjoy seeing your builds Rafi. You’ve yet to disappoint.
Thank you Ben!
Great result on a difficult kit, Rafi.
Thank you John.
Excellent build - I especially like the weathering and treatment of the black monochromatic scheme - brought lots of life to it! Well done.
Thank you Greg!

The black color helped to cover my frustration.
Fantastic result Rafi. Lovely work.
Thank you Scott.
Getting one done is an accomplishment!
Thank you Dan.
