Very cool retro build. That Indy racer kit goes all the way back to 1957 and the original box art had the words "Four Star Plastic" in the lower right corner, Doug @eatontkd. And yes, that tool box caught my eye as well.

Great kit, beautiful build! I like these old Monogram kits. If memory serves me correctly, this kit was there second plastic car kit back in 1954. The Midget was the first, and a 32 Ford roadster Hot Rod was the third, all coming out around the same time. If your interested you can check out my build of the Midget I posted a wile back. Awesome job on your Kurtiss Indy Roadster my friend. I really love it.
Thank you Clint. I have the Midget and have built it too. Yes, these are fun kits. There's not much detail and the assemblies are easy but they have such a retro feel.
