Further to my post on the Scammell tractor, I've now completed the trailer and load. The Crusader tank is the Italeri kit built pretty much out of the box. The kits were painted with enamels and weathered with pastels and a Flory wash. I [...]
This is a big departure for me as I usually model aircraft. The kit grabbed my attention and I thought I'd have a crack at it? I had no reference material at the start of the build but, as always, the internet came to my rescue. Another [...]
A very straightforward build that I treated as a mojo restorer...I sometimes find myself going down a rabbit hole with an excessive amount of detailing (most of which can't been seen anyway) when I'm building some kits which sometimes [...]
The latest off the slab, an ICM 1/32 Fiat CR.42AS built pretty much oob with a few tweaks to cockpit and air filter. Painted with Tamiya XF's and weathered with pastels. A quick, easy build and one that I can thoroughly recommend!
Modified Trumpy 1/32 Lightning, fuselage extended by 5mm (kit fuselage too short), undercarriage (height and stance)corrected, fuselage below canopy corrected and inflight refuelling probe added. Finished with Vallejo metallics and [...]

Here is my Shackleton built pretty much out of the box but I added screen wipers and detailed the cockpit.
An unusual scale for me although it is still quite a large kit when finished.
The model was finished with Tamiya XF's and, as I [...]
The kit was painted with Tamiya XF's and weathered with pastels and enhanced with an Eduard pe set. I couldn't get the kits rigging to work and so I used stainless steel wire instead...
Nearly finished with just a few smaller parts and decals to be fitted. A very straightforward and enjoyable build which I can heartily recommend!
