I mainly build in 1/72 scale and 1/144 for airliners.
I prefer them big, so multi-engined transports, bombers, special mission aircraft are the go. I also like to build modern RAAF and US Military, Finnish Air Force subjects.
Next off my P-3 production line is is the 1/72 Hasegawa kit built OOB and finished with kit and Canuck Decals for a machine from 10SQN RAAF. HF wire antennas were made from eziline.
I completed this one some months ago, it is the Hasegawa P-3C kit converted to an RAAF ISR/EW aircraft.
The base kit was updated with a Hamilton Hobbies EW conversion set as well as additional scratch building of fittings and antennas not [...]
This is the 1/72 Italeri C-130 kit (Testors boxing) built as an LC-130F of the United States Navy.
It represents LC-130F 148321 of VXE-6 which crashed in 1971 at an ice runway 860 miles (1,380 km) from McMurdo Station as a result of two [...]
This is the original tooling of the Airfix C-130 kit. I have built it as a USAF HC-130N CSAR aircraft or as the USAF puts it "the only dedicated fixed-wing Personnel Recovery platform in the Air Force inventory".
To build the [...]
The MC-55A Peregrine will replace the now retired AP-3C(EW) Orion aircraft in Royal Australian Air Force service. It has been developed as an ISR/EW (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance /Electronic Warfare) platform using the [...]
Here is one of my latest completions, it is a 1/72 scale Italeri Lockheed C-130E finished as an L-100-30 of Tepper Aviation.
Since the L-100 is basically a C-130H I had to modify the Italeri C-130E kit to bring it up to that spec.
The [...]
This is the 1/72 Welsh Models Gulfstream G-IV built as a U-4 of the JASDF. The kit was built OOB with the addition of type-specific antennas. Decals are by Draw Decal.
The U-4 Multi-Purpose Support Aircraft is a Gulfstream Aerospace [...]
This kit started life as an Italeri boxing of the AMT/Esci AC-130H. It is hard to believe I started it back in 2017 (well not that hard with my track record). The conversion involved:
Plugging the 'AC' holes
Lengthened the fuselage for [...]

1/72 Welsh Models P-8A Poseidon in the markings of A47-007 of 11SQN, RAAF complete. The build consisted of scratch building the weapons bay, weapons mounting points on the wings and pylons, many of the ESM and AMS lumps and antennas. I [...]
