Back in 2011 I created two 777-200, one LR and one F (Cargo) in a fantasy livery of Pan Am, as if this company have made it 'til that year, it's 80 years old anniversary. Both are Minicraft kits. To know more about those two, visit the [...]
Kit Revell, 1/144 scale. TransBrasil was a Brazilian airline, famous for it's 727 fleet (the largest in South America) and it's livery, almost like Braniff, with colorful planes. I have more planes in this livery, will post here.
This is a 1/144 Minicraft kit, finished straight from the box. It is the 295th DC-8 built. It was delivered to Delta as a -61 model on 19 July 1967. In 1982, it was modified to -71 standards with the addition of modern CFM56 turbofan [...]
This is another non-AC subject I completed in the past two weeks. New Ware is a company that produces high quality all resin kits of various rocket designs. This is the first kit I have built from this company and I will say that it was [...]
This is the 1/144 Minicraft DC-8-63 built straight from the box. This particular a/c, N8755, was the 503rd out of a total of 556 DC-8s built. It was delivered to Eastern on 14 December 1969. It was later operated as a freighter by [...]
This is an old kit of a facinating subject, the China Clipper. The Martin Clippers (China/Hawaii/Phillipine) operated from the mid-thirties to the mid-forties, spending a couple years in war camoflage. Decals are provided for all three [...]
I'm currently working on a 1/144 Minicraft DC-8 and Zvezda Tu-154M as a change of pace. I realized that the last airliners I built were the A330 and 767 shown here. I thought I would share them. The A330 is a Revell kit built in 1998. [...]
This is a B-50 created from a Minicraft B-29a and a Minicraft C-97. Both are in 1/144 scale.
I started by cutting the Vertical tail off both kits. I then cut out the gunners cabin from the B-29 and placed it in the C-97's vertical fin. [...]
Although I was not at "The Home", I built this for a lady whose Father worked on the B-36. He is elderly and she wanted it to give to him before the inevitable happens.
It does not represent a B-36 from any squadron in [...]
There are a few weird models on my shelves, but this is one of the strangest. I couldn't find a scale on the instruction sheet, but it looks at home on my "1/144th & other" shelf, next to the other Soviet stuff. Not really [...]
