Kinetic 1/48 Sea Harrier FA.2 “SHAR”
This build have been a WIP for nearly 9 months, going back and forth between the workbench and a storagebox. I had an idea to build a superdetailed SHAR with a lots of aftermarket, 3d printed parts and scratchbuilding. But due to poor [...]
A Bf 108 over Africa- and this without the Afrikakorps! D-IBMY on the podium of the 1937 oasis flight
An aircraft as iconic as the Bf 108 is matched by an equally iconic colour scheme: the blue "RLM 24" and the classic forms of Messerschmitt's groundbreaking first all-metal aircraft form a combination that is still memorable [...]
British Fury
I wanted to build a 1/48 scale tank and I chose a Churchill Crocodile for the project. I also wanted to see if I can hand paint small letters so I decided to put Fury on the barrel. The accessories are from miniart.
Helldiver Conversion
The inspiration for this project was the photo of torpedoes being loaded onto Helldivers of VB-2 on the U.S.S. Hornet. The aircraft in the photo is the SB2C-1C version of the Helldiver, and since I had a Pro-Modeler SB2C-4 kit that I had [...]

An OD Mustang – 1/48 Rovin' Rhoda
Hi all.
A Sunday arvo session done and a model is complete. This is the 1/48th Airfix P-51D Mustang. I wanted a non-silver finished Mustang so I grabbed the OD/NG Rovin' Rhoda/4 Bolts scheme from my Eduard Mustang. There's lots of [...]
Accurate Miniatures 1/48 P-51B
My latest is the Academy reboxing of AM's P-51B, and represents" Missouri Mauler" flown my Captain Willard Milllikan of the 336th Fighter Squadron, 4th Fighter Group. He was involved in a mid-air collision with a wing mate while [...]
Cessna A-37B Dragonfly – Trumpeter 1/48
The second kit I've got to share today is Trumpeter's A-37B Dragonfly, or Super Tweet as it is often called. I love the look of this plane, not only because of it's form, but also because despite it's diminutive size, it was all business. [...]
Douglas A-1H Skyraider – Tamiya 1/48
Today's first post brings another work I've just put some finishing touches onto. The kit is, of course, Tamiya's venerable 1/48 scale "Bumble-Bee boxing". I chose to build this out of the box, as I liked the look of the VA-52 [...]
What-If Build: Grumman F5F-2 – 1/48 Minicraft
Fresh off the workbench is Minicraft's gem-of-a-kit, that is, their Long-Nose XF5F... schemed-out in a what-if 1943 Tri-tone Blue. This is my third Navy whiffer and I can say I'm happy with the slightly esoteric and (for me anyway) [...]
