Here is my second attempt since returning to the hobby after too many years. I have smiled on a daily basis watching all of the Hellcats and now a Wildcat or 6 going up. And here's my novice attempt purely through coincidence. I recently [...]
Tonight's article is about a model that I built many years ago. It was built right out of the box and no aftermarket items were used other than a little "Bare Metal Foil" on the propeller. I built this plane right around the [...]
Here are some pictures of the build I've been scrambling to get finished. Unfortunately it doesn't look like I'm going to make my deadline that I originally set to have the model completed by. My original plan was to have the plane [...]
I posted several photos of the Eduard Weekend Edition Hellcat II a couple of years ago when I built it. I added resin wheels, straps for the drop tank from scrap p/e, and p/e belts. This is the best Hellcat kit available today. Very [...]

2nd [...]
Another one of those fun little 1/48 Tamiya Armour builds. Only issue i had was the decals sucks. To thick and keep cracking. I was able to fix it with touch up paint and weathering. Back to my Tomcat now 🙂
Cheers Brian
As a continuation of the recent Hellcat themed articles, here's another one for your enjoyment tonight. This is "Minsi III", F6F-5 bureau number 70143. This is the plane in which he scored the last 23.5 kills of his 34 [...]
Eduard's 1/48, done right after it's initial release. Prop and tires were replaced with Hasegawa items, and a true Details cockpit set used. The small decals are also Hasegawa. The finish represents a Lexington fighter flown by an ace from [...]
