Eduard 1/48 Mig-21 MF
As the profipack, the kit comes with extra detail and of course masks. Only problems occurring was a tiny gap in the wing root, flimsy front landing gear and a slight bent nose aerial. Painting was done in Tamiya and Revell paints, both airbrushed and hand painted (as always), weathering Florymodels wash and varnished with XF-86 (Anyone else use this?)
Not a huge jet person, but have to admit I loved this one!

Hey Neil! Thanks for the comment. You popping to Cosford this weekend?

Well done Michael. I built the PF weekender version two years ago and loved every minute of the build too. I had a similar problem at the wing fuselage join at the rear underside. Some plastic shim fills the gap but other than that it was a joy to build.
I’d agree with the gear particularly the mains, they are a bit ‘story’.
Good one.

Thanks Michael. Yeah the gear is still very flimey, think it depends how much weight you put in

Very nice build, Michael.
I had that kit on my bench a while ago but postponed it for the time being. I described my way to deal with the gap at the wing roots here:

I basically like XF-86. When it’s newly painted it looks very attractive. As it creates a rough surface, however, when handling the model it’s easily polished to some greasy appearance and so I stopped using it.
