Well I finally got something completed. 1/48 Eduard F6F Hellcat with Eduard Brassin wheels and painted with Model Master paints.

Started the build in October last year and then I got the "whooping-cough".
Inflamation of my ears, lost my voice and making sounds like a Pit Bull on steroids... couldn't build because of the severe cough.

This is 1/48 Grumman Hellcat finished several years ago with the markings of FAA 808th squadron from HMS “Khedive” during May 1945.
Inaccurate cowling replaced with Obscureco F6F3 / 5 corrected cowling.

Not having seen one in real life, I hadn't fully appreciated how big the F6F was until I built this kit and parked it alongside other WW2 fighters of the same scale.
