ICM BF-109E-4 in 1/72nd scale
Another oob build. This is said to be more accurate than the Tamiya version but not as easy going as the Tamiya. Still it is not difficult to build, and would recommended it.
Let’s start with some 1/72nd scale armor
I wanted to start contributing with some 1/72nd scale armor I did a couple of years back. The first one is the Dragon LVT-4A1 from WWII and it was a joy to build and paint. Just an out of the box kit build, so I had the joy of a quick [...]
Revell (X MPM) Meteor F4
Hi All, Another oldie i built this last year its the Revell (X MPM) Meteor F4 or as we brits call
it The Meat Box.
Not a bad kit, nice surface detail the cockpit isn't great but a perfect candidate for fitting the Eduard Zoom Etch which i [...]
Sd.Kfz.232 (Tamiya 1/48)
There is not so much to say about this model. Kit is easy to assemble and it was a really pleasure to work on it after short run kits. I wanted to try some of the weathering techniques - different filter colors, oils, pigments, etc. It's [...]

I was e-mailing these pics to a friend who just purchased the kit and thought I'd share them here as well. I built this one way back when it came out. Aeromaster enamel paints and Superscale decals finished her up. Not much else to [...]
Mojo restoration – Tamiya 1/48 Messerschmitt Bf 109E-3
It's time to call this one ready. The Bf 109E is my first completed kit in almost three years, a period when my modeling had been falling victim to other commitments in life.
Although I'm the one who started iModeler, little did I know [...]

EF-10B Skyknight
Hi All, Just completed the Douglas EF-10B Skyknight Sword's 1/72 kit
Actually went together quite well my only moan would be that there wasn't much in the way of locating points when fitting the cockpit and the instructions are a little [...]
Tamiya’s new 1/48 refuelling truck
I thought some of you guys might be interested in this picture of Tamiya's forthcoming 1/48 kit of a US airfield refuelling truck. It's due for release in March...
1/48th Tamiya F4U-1A
The Tamiya 1/48th Corsair kits (F4U-1, -1A and -1D) are extremely nice to work with and go together smoothly. I'd rank them as the best Corsair kits available in that scale. The plane I've modeled is a FG-1A (Goodyear produced) Corsair in [...]
