Tamiya 1/48 Dewoitine D.520 (pilot- S/Lt Le Gloan)
Hello everyone! Roll out of the hangar is fresh model- Dewoitine D.520 in a painting of the famous ace Le Gloan. Model old and fairly well-known, and gave me a lot of pleasure in the assembly. All pleasant viewing!

Maxim,
This is really nice. A great looking airplane and you have depicted it beautifully. I like everything you have done with this model.

This looks very nice. I really like the camo. Did you free hand it, mask it or what ????

Nice build Maxim, love the paint job. Nicely weathered but not overdone. Thanks for sharing!

Beautifully detailed build, sir…a big thumbs up.

Ah, another boring Maxim Bylkin mastgerpiece, built to the Expected Standard. 🙂
Truly stupendous. The weathering is just perfect. I like you did this airplane before he flew it in Syria, the markings nearly everyone does.
Just great.

Thank you, Tom, for such flatter responses. But to continue the fun does not promise to be as boring)))

Very nice build, not a popular plane to model, great paint finish.

Like everyone else said – just excellent work, and I love the shading and weathering. If you don’t mind my asking, what were the colors used for the camo scheme? (I’ve got several French aircraft to build, and I like your selections).

Slightly disappoint you- I paint mixed himself, focusing on color photographs and models of other authors. In general, rely on your artistic taste))) By the way, gray top, I did too light, I think.

That’s incredible Maxim, I’m in the process of finishing the same kit so I can appreciate all the work you put into it, including riveting. Can only hope that mine turns out half as good as yours:

Thank you, Martin! I’m sure you get the cool Dewoitine! The more that I collected model out of the box, and you come to work very carefully, studying materiel.
