Great build! Seems these new Airfix-es are great stuffs.
Thanks Gábor, all the new Airfix kits are excellent, great details and great fit.
Nice work, Bernard! I've got two of those waiting on the bench. I also have an Xtradecal sheet for them. Good to know that the Mk.II parts are in the box.
Thanks John, I've another in the stash to do as a day fighter.
Very nice! Love the Defiant. I've finished one in typical overland scheme, but want to add a night fighter version at some point.
Than you Greg.
Nicely finished, Bernard...however odd it may seem, the airframe somehow reminds me of the German Stuka (can't explain my observation). Not a 'pretty' airplane IMO, but apparently got the job done.
Hey whaddya mean not pretty!? ?
Thanks Craig, it's an aircraft that people either love or hate, I quite like it myself but yes, it's not as pretty as a Spitfire.
🙂 ... Greetings ... 🙂 :
This one really stands out Bernard, nice model and aircraft, but it is the coloring that for me makes it poke out from the normal scheme ( nothing wrong with those schemes ). Good work overall.
Thanks DE4EVER, the black has a tint of dark red in it.
Another stunner from your bench, Bernard ! And you are right, you can t go wrong with a new tool Airfix kit, especially when it has the shape of the Defiant.
Thank you Bernd.
Great work, I've got to try one of the new Aitfix kits, 1/72 though.
Thanks Robert, a couple of friends who do 1/72 have only had good things to say about the latest Airfix kits in that scale, and I've even ordered one of their new B-17's.
Nice job. Like it.
Thanks Anthony.
Awesome build my friend. This new Airfix Defiant is definitely on my list... Now I just need to find one.

Tail end Charlie in the comment section... once again this kit proves "That Black is Beautiful." A simple elegant satin finish, accented with some antenna wires to make the kit look interesting makes for a looker. Two thumbs up Bernard.
Looks great Bernard. It's on my list too but I haven't seen one in the shops yet in Australia!
