1/48 Tamiya Thunderbolt "Pengie II" 56th FG
Long time since I posted anything here. This one completed earlier this year and recently had some photos taken.
Decals are from the excellent AJ Press Book "56th FG Part 1"
Ultracast Seat and Wheels
Paints are Mr Hobby and Tamiya Acrylics.
Future builds include more 56th FG aircraft - though deciding which one is difficult as too many to choose from!

Beautiful work on that Jug, Darren - my favorite radial 'brute'.
Really great finish.
Darren: Beautiful job on the P-47...you really nailed it!
Excellent, i love it.
🙂 ... Greetings ... 🙂 :
Always like the P-47 Thunderbolt.
Just looking at it screams out "BRUTE".
Nice clean work on that one Darren.
Man, that's gorgeous. I've a few more to tackle but that exact model is in the stash and I am fairly drooling right now. Love the razorback and what you did with it!
Very nicely done! Beautiful!
A beautiful Jug - nicely built and finished. Great work!
Very nicely done Darren. My compliments to you.
You had me at 'Thunderbolt' and then a Razorback as well. Great looking model.
Very nice. Mike Gladych was one of the real "characters" of the group.
I agree with everyone who commented above. Your T-bolt is a wonderful work of art. Two thumbs up Sir ! I really like it.
Nice finish on that Thunderbolt.
I admire your collection of P-47s. They ARE brutes .. but GREAT brutes and you've done this one as well as many others excellently!
I love the finish!
congrats on an awesome build! Makes me want to dig out my Tamiya P-47's and start clipping parts of trees- but I need to clear out the partial builds first!
Another fine T-bolt, nice job.
