Tamiya, 1/35, IDF, M577 “Mugaf”
Hi guys, this is my Tamiya M577 in 1/35 scale. colors and weathering effects by Ammo-Mig. with tons of modifications, most of them are scratch build.
I was the commander of this M577 “Mugaf” in the IDF, in a 175 mm self propelled guns battalion N0. 55, battery A, for almost 2 years during the late 80’s. so it was like my second home those years:)
Happy day everyone!

Great looking ‘577, Allon! Yours looks like any one of a hundred I’ve seen. Different lettering, though. Tremendous detailing, Sir!

A unique and superb build, Allon. Hard to tell the model from the real deal.

Like Jeff, I’ve seen a few of these too. You guys had a lot more room inside these than we ever had inside our tanks !!!! Our “communication” crews even slept on cots inside of them. This is something you could never do in a tank……………….
Your build looks wonderful. I like it a lot !!!!!

Nice work Allon. Love the weathering and the detail, hats off to you for serving in the army. And for making this m577 just like the one you commanded. Sweet as a nut. 👍🏼

Beautiful work Allon! Love the detail and weathering. I wasn’t very familiar with this type vehicle, so was great to see your rendition of it.
