F-4E HAF 1/48 HASEGAWA
PHANTOM PHOREVER ā THE LEGEND LIVES ON
This legendary twin engine beast of Mc Donnell Douglas might not be the most versatile and agile fighter of the Hellenic Air Force, but it still remains an essential component of its Tactical Air Force planning. Today, HAF still maintains in front line service two F-4 Squadrons, while the aircraft is counting more than 40 years of service. The legend still lives on.
THE KIT
Hasegawa is a straight forward build for F-4E HAF so the kit is beatiful. Extras are the seats (Quickboost) exhcaust (Aires) Decals - Stencils (Icarus)
I love HASEGAWA and i must say that i love the Aegean blue scheme
The Colours are Gunze and varnish are Winsor.

Hello Dionysios,
Great job on this Greek fighter. I must admit that the HAF used the F-4 to the full.
My compliments. Regards, Dirk

Ok - you just convinced me to add yet another Phantom to my stash - to be built in Aegean Blue scheme! I already have one going in Aegean Ghost, and this will be a lovely mate to it. Your's is fantastic - will swipe all the pics for reference work on mine (though mine will be 1/72).
Beautiful - love the paint work, weathering and finishing. Well done.
Thank you Greg.i wish you the best and you can use anything!
@dennis35gr Do you remember the Gunze colors you used for the blue and undersides?
Good morning from Thessaloniki Greece my friend. Underside is aluminium mat
Upper I used H-56 with a mix with grey because the real was not si blue. If you have anything to ask go for it.
Excellent work! Iām a fan of the Hasegawa Phantom too. Greek camo is very attractive on these planes.
Thank you very much for your kind words john! I love the Aegean blue camo because you can do many things (weathering ,postshade, oils).
