Scratch made 3.7 inch AA gun.
This is a scratch built model of a British 3.7 inch AA gun I made a couple of years ago,but I have given it a fresh lick of paint and added a few more parts.Stands 8 inches high,Copied from pictures and is made from wood.
Wonderful work Derek - I like how you get the metallic look to your wooden models!
Hi David ,answering your question, I use Humbrol 27003 for polished steel. It goes on black (very thin paint) needs a good stir.Wait 30 minutes and buff with soft cloth.Humbrol 27002 and 27004 also gives a metal finish.Regards Derek.
Yet another masterful scratch build from the scratch-building guru...! 🙂
Thanks again Craig ?

As a "wood guy" in real life, I'll give you a big atta boy. Wonderful work.
