Very early RB-57E Patrica Lynn Canberra
Hello all,
This is my attempt at producing an accurate 1/72 scale rendition on the RB-57E. For many years the Italeri B-57 was regarded as the best option but unfortunately the kit is deeply flawed, the issues are too many to go into here, but suffice it to say, the parts from that kit I used was the forward fuselage, the rest of the model involves the Airfix fuselage, FROG wings, components from other Canberra kits a bit of scratch building and a splash of resin. A full build can be found on my site here, https://ipmscanberrasig.webs.com/apps/forums/topics/show/13415112-early-rb-57e-in-1-72
Excellent work on a real workhorse bomber, John. I looks like it was just delivered to the unit. I'm a fan of the B-57 and have been for decades.
Thanks Jeff, me too! I kept her clean as the Able Mable E's were well looked after.
Sharp looking build. Especially like the flight picture.
Thanks Matt, it's the first time I've tried anything like that with the flight photo
Outstanding work, John...that headline photo really grabs your attention!
Thanks Craig, it was a close call, she very nearly crashed when I was taking it!
Fantastic result!
Thanks very much Robert
Looks good John, well done.
Thanks Allan

Thanks Bob, just a good old rattle can.

Very nice! The elbow grease really paid off. Well done.
Thanks Greg, very much a labour of love, I may try the same with a B.57G
Hello John,
