1/48 Airfix Ju-87B-1 Stuka Diorama

January 29, 2021 · in Aviation · · 8 · 2.5K

This is the Junkers JU-87B-1 . This was a World War II dive bomber use by Germany. The scheme is that of the Staffelkapitan, 4th Staffel, Stukageshwader 77. It represents how it looked in June 1940 in France. I detailed the aircraft Eduard “Big ED” photo etch detail set (#49166). It is mounted to a 16″ round base which has been detailed with Tamiya's 1/48 German Kettenkraftrad and power cart kit and ICM's 1/48 German Luftwaffe Pilots and Ground Personnel set. The maintenance ladder was scratch-built and I used Scene-O-Rama accessories to detail the base.

You can see all the photos and details from the start to finish in my build log at https://davidsscalemodels.com/build-log/1-48-ju-87b-1-stuka/
