Jabo…1/48 Focke-Wulf Fw190F-9, II./SG3
One of my dad´s older still existing models. Built 5-10 years ago. Tamiya kit, replaced the kit´s too small in diameter wheels with some from the sparesbox, seatbelts and detail to the landing gear added, fishing line for the antenna wire, injection needles used for the wing root guns, painted with Gunze and Tamiya acrylics.
The model shows an aircraft of Stab II./Schlachtgeschwader 3 that was captured by US troops in early 1945 in Germany.

Wonderful build, Reinhard.
What a great idea to use injection needles as guns.

Thanks again John! Nowadays he usually uses plastic rods or pipes to replace kit guns. The needles are often not that easy to cut and stay in shape.

Still looks great.
Edit to add to what Louis says below, yes, you guys are a great team. Your low-level shots from head-on are always a special treat for my eyes. I just love eye-level photography because that’s how we’re used to seeing the real ones and in my opinion models look their best this way.
I’m guessing you take the pictures because your Dad’s busy at the bench.
Great stuff as always.

Thanks a lot John! As you said, we´re used to that perspective and I prefer it too. That´s why I take most pics in a lower height.
He´s always busy at the bench, especially in autumn and winter. He´s 73 now and lost a bit the connection to the new digital world. To make things easier, I take the pics and do the posts.

I’ve saved some of your photos for inspirational purposes and when I do I keep the eye-level ones, arranged in a walkaround. I can get any painting/markings info I might need from just those.
And, they’re nice to look at.

This Focke-Wulf 190 has definitely held up nicely over the years. You with your photography skills, and your dad with his building definitely make a great team.
I pressed the “liked” button too.

By now, all you have to say is it’s a “classic Spreitzhofer” build, and it stands by itself! Another beauty.
