1/48th Westland Lynx AH.7
This is the Airfix, 1/48th scale AH.7 Lynx. This was a superb kit, but it took me a long time to finish it because the fit tolerances were so tight, I spent a lot of time making adjustments to get the fuselage to fit around the interior cabin components. The effort was worth it, however, as the end result was pleasing. The main and tail rotor system components are extremely delicate. The blade grips for both are scale thin, so extreme care was necessary during assembly and painting now that the is finished, I have to be very cautious to avoid breakage. I used an Eduard cockpit detail set and made seat harnesses from scratch. The decals are the kit decals and they performed flawlessly. The main and tail rotor markings are decals.
Cheers,
Scott

Well-built and beautifully painted, Scott. You have done a good job highlighting the rivets, which are a nice authentic feature of the Airfix kit. I have this kit about a third built myself. I agree that it is quite fragile but worth the care to build, for sure.
