The New Guinea Samurai. A6M3.

A from the Tainan Fighter Group, Buna, East-New Guinea, 1942-1943.

This is a real Oldie. A classic kit from the range. Something reengraved. The rest build oob. Hinomarus and stripes painted on. The rest are original kit decals.

Tamiya and Gunze paints. I use as the panel liner the water paints for kids. One drop of dish soap helps against the surface tension.

I don't like chemical substances that react with each other and possibly attack the painted surface. If I already read what is not allowed on what because this or that can happen, then I do without it completely. Do we need a red book for model building products as well as for doctors who have to consider which medicine collide with each other... ?

Best regards
