My First Natural Metal Finish

October 27, 2022 · in Uncategorized · · 16 · 0.8K

This is an that I built to do in natural metal finish, my first. I used the technique found in AK's book FAQ using paints primarily along with other things such as pencil lead, both drawn on and powdered. I was pleased with the results.

  1. Dan, I would be pleased too! AK seems to have provided a great technique, but you surely proved that it was a worthwhile (and teachable) method. Well done!

  15. That is a really nice looking model you have done there Dan Muller (@wig41). It does look fantastic.

There are so many models that I'd like to build and MIG's are definitely on my list. I like to pair counter parts together. So I did a Spit and a BF109E. Being English, I'd love to pair say an RAF Phantom, Tornado or Typhoon (Eurofighter) with a MIG from it's respective era. I love the MIG 29's and Su 27's 🙂

  16. Thank you for your comment Scott. I tend to do the same kind of pairing, especially when displayed.
