I picked up this kit (which included the Fairey FD-2 kit from FROG) at a recent contest for a very reasonable price from a friend running a vendor table.

It seems kits can be “hit or miss” in quality. I think this one is good. The cockpit is not as accurate as it could be but for what one can see through the canopy, it's sufficient with the addition of some seatbelts. Fit is quite good and the engraved panel lines are crisp and consistent.

I used Mr Color Midnight Blue, Medium Blue and White for the camo. I mixed in some Medium sea Grey to add variation to both blues. Tamiya Smoke was used for exhaust stains and various Vallejo weathering pencils for added weathering.
