B-25J with D-Day markings.
Recently completed Revell 1/48th B-25J for my D-Day scheme. Added a pre-assembly photo (pic2) and some maintenance equipment from some other kits. Overall the model is well detailed with some trouble spots. The nose, wings and the engine cowling assemblies had to be fiddled with at assembly. Otherwise it's not a bad looking model. Had fun making it!
That is magnificent! I wonder, looking at this, if the HK Models release is value for money. Image 8 is particularly striking.
Thanks for your reply. As far as the HK 1/48 B-25J is as compared to the Revell version, the HK might have a little more detail and more parts. But the price without shipping is $110+. I purchased the Revell on eBay for $29.75 with shipping.
Nicely done! You did a good job of "taming" the front glass for the nose. A very smart looking build indeed. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you 👍
This is an outstanding model ! You did a great job on it .
Thanks Jay
Fantastic job, Robert! This classic kit can be turned into a real gem, in the hands of skillful modeler, as is the case here!
Congratulations!
Thanks
Absolutely amazing, Robert @bsc4849
It does look great in D-day scheme.
Nicely done Robert.
Thanks Tom, I’ll be working on the Ju 52 next thanks to you.
Fun is the most important part of our hobby, and this Revell kit turned out great.
Thanks George
Looks great! Can't have too many Mitchells posted - my favorite twin-engined medium bomber/gunship.
Thanks Greg, yes a very popular aircraft on all fronts.
Well done. Those old Revell kits can be made to look good!
Thanks, they can look good but it takes a lot of patience.
Thanks, yes they can but it takes a lot of patience.
