Roland D.VIa, Jasta 23b, Epinoy, France, 1918

Hi, this is my latest completed model from the WnW range. The kit is a pleasure to build and is a really attractive subject for a model kit. The colour scheme was achieved by using enamel and oil paints, and lozenge pattern markings from Aviattic and turnbuckles from GasPatch.

All in all, this was an almost four week build; there are three instalments available on YouTube, the last of which can be accessed here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPjoM2VbmBs. The kit also features in the 'Imperial German...' GB, where there are other photos included as well, here - https://imodeler.com/groups/imperial-german-air-service-luftwaffe-group-build-may-1st-1910-to-present-day/forum/topic/wingnut-wings-roland-d-via/.

I hope you like the end result, and thanks for looking in... ;-).

Regards,

Paul

So much detail and excellent paint work.
Also the rigging with the turnbuckles is perfectly done.
