1/32 Scale Tamiya F-4 Phantom II VMFAT-101 SharpShooters

May 8, 2023 · in Aviation · · 22 · 0.7K

Hello again!

Here is my latest build for a former F-4 pilot and member of VMFAT-101. This kit is the scale kit. From what I can tell this is an older kit, but still a fairly straight forward. Added a real aluminum exhaust area and tail section, scratch built details for the ejection seats.
Build time: 175 hours, 3 weeks

Fun build! Now on to a Tamiya motorcycle for a customer.

The overall finish is already perfect but the aluminum tail section and work on the ejection seat is a work of art.

  10. Nice work on this oldish Tamiya kit, nice subtle weathering makes it look smart but not immaculate. Looking forward to seeing the motorbike.

  12. Excellent build! I just bought another 8 Phantoms (ebay lot), so I'm definitely a fan of the Rhino, and this is a good-looking one!
