Academy 1/48 F-4C Vietnam

Academy's early Phantoms are very good kits and superior to the dated Hasegawa kits. In this kit I focused on the complex weathering patterns that characterized aircraft operating in the humid and dusty conditions of . Due to the scarcity of photographs showing the lower surface of operational aircraft, I assumed that the F-4C is similar to the E model. The latter I know too well.

    I am a great admirer of the late Robin Olds, your F-4C is a real tribute to Olds and the rest of the Wolfpack.

  2. I think my colour blindness prevents me fully appreciating the camouflage and weathering, but it definitely looks like a Phantom from here.
