Beautiful Work Rafi! @blackmopane. I love to color variation in the blue you achieved, it really looks spectacular and the wash really emphasized all that beautiful molded detail. Really well done, one of your best efforts!
Wow, Rafi, really beautiful work! It looks awesome. You built yourself an amazing Corsair. You're rite about this kit too, Tamiya did a wonderful job when they engineered 1/32nd Corsairs. The only criticism I have with these kits is the lack of any machine gun muzzles detail behind the openings in The leading edge of the wings. It's an easy fix, I know, but for as great of a kit that it is, with all its wonderful engineering and detail, you would figure something would be there.
I think that is my favorite build of yours so far - the paint modulation work and weathering are superb! I'd love to watch a master-class video of how you achieve that subtle finish.
Thank you Greg.
It is a different frame of mind to do a video and I am not up to this.
The principle is to go by the flow, which means to apply very thin layers of paint of your own mix.
You are totally, absolutely and completely right that this is one of the best, most accurate kits ever, and certainly the definitive Corsair kit, @blackmopane. And it's also absolutely obvious that you made the most of the opportunity presented. A superb result!
In no particular order, the Eduard Spitfires, the Eduard 109F-K (their E has problems but everyone seems to want to give them a pass), the Tamiya P-38s, the Kinetic Pucara, the Tamiya 1/32 Corsairs, Spitfires and P-51s, the new Eduard Fw-190A, the Magic Factory 1/48 Corsair, the Eduard Zero series, the Eduard Wildcat series, the H-K Models 1/48 and 1/32 B-25 series, the H-K 1/48 Lancaster series, the Wingsy 109E series, The Mini-Art P-47D, the Arma 1/48 Hurricane IIc, the Airfix Anson, Those are just off the top of my head.
Many thanks Tom.
I will try the Airfix Anson after the disappointing CA build. Good to know that the ones in your list that I did not build were considered, but price matters.

The kit also misses some plumbing in the wheel bay and ignition harness.
