Biafra B25 Mitchell

April 5, 2024 · in Aviation · · 12 · 383

Here is one of two B25's used briefly at the start of the War of 1967-1970. Scale 1:72. This is the old Italeri kit modified and panel lines engraved. Weathering kept to a minimum as these things were not in use for long.

  1. Beautifully done, Brian @info4
I was not aware that Biafra did use Mitchells.
    Very nice camouflage scheme.

  2. I'm really tempted to try a T-6 in Biafran colors...

  3. How did you manage to get the photos to look like the B-25 got stepped on by an elephant?

  4. Nicely done, Brian (@info4). I am always looking around for unusual things to build, and this certainly qualifies. Nice job on the camouflage.

  5. That is an interesting scheme - and nicely done!

  6. Great subject, great build. You've captured the aircraft perfectly. The Biafra/Nigeria conflict is one of my aviation interests. I'm going to build a DC 6 and a Super Constellation that we're used during the airlift.
    Again, excellent build.
