1/144 Trumpeter Rafale B

July 24, 2024 · in Aviation · · 5 · 133

After over 30 years of service, Croatian Air Force finally decided to retire overused and outdated MiG-21 fighters. After first unsuccessful attempt to purchase F-16 Sufa fighters from Israel, Croatian Ministry of Defense finally signed contract with French Dassault for purchase of 12 used airplanes. On April 25th 2024, first six Rafale airplanes touched the ground of their new home base in Zagreb (capital). This mini diorama is a recreation of their first landing. May they serve well.
