Two shiny "little friends": here is the first one.
Recently, I have decided to once again tackle a rather problem-free construction. Having Airfix's 1:24 P-51 on my workbench and two 1:32 Mustangs from Revell and Trumpeter, I chose the Tamiya kit. A few etched parts from Eduard freshened up the not so young kit.
Here you can see the first finished model from this double, the other one, a Mustang of the RAF, follows in its own gallery contribution.
Still looks super even for an older Kit!
Well done, again.
Beautifully done!
Beautiful work, Roland! Why Tamiya hasn't released a P-51 B/C in 1/72 scale is a mystery, it would be a licence to print money.
Very nice Pony. The P-51 B is a classic.
Excellent build...nice job.
Gentlemen, your comments mean a lot to me, thanks for this motivation!
Lovely birds, Roland!
Nice work. The Tamiya P-51B is a solid dependable workhorse of a kit.
Thank you Dmitry and Tom!
Very nicely done. Great job.
That's a really beautiful Pony! Love the checkerboard nose surround, and I'm just a fan of the B Mustang.
Ok first thing. You can never have too many Mustangs on your work bench! Very nice work. I like how the NMF came out. Not shiny, but not beat up, it accents the beautiful lines of the P-51 really well. Mustangs are my favorite by a mile but I have never built this kit even though I have two in the stash. I really need to fix that! Thanks for sharing.
