PT-217 Twin Kaydet
Here's what happened when I tried to build two Revell PT-17s at the same time. I spent more time sniffing glue than reading instructions and things got a bit confusing...whatever,
As I was thinking about all the thousands of future Mustang pilots that learned to fly in the Kaydet, I figured that the future Twin Mustang pilots must have trained in the Twin Kaydet!
@chasbunch - Very cool Chas, definitely a bit of a crazy idea, but the finished piece will make people wonder if it really existed.
Holy smokes - that takes the prize for the most imaginative build I've seen in a while! Beautifully done!
Chas, I find it a lot of fun to get out of the ol' rut and let the artistic imagination flow, and this is great example why. This a very nice looking model and very nicely built.
thats really cool...really cool...but the seat cushions would need to made of steel...or teflon for easy removal.
This is great, wildly imaginative and superbly executed.
One thing, from 100 hours in a Stearman; this would be one of those Zwillings like the 109Z, that has all four main gear legs - spreading the weight that wide would be dangerous (this is not a complaint)
A crazy but wonderful idea, Chas @chasbunch
Your creativity and modelling skills are clearly present in this Twin project.
Well done.
Umm, are you OK?
Yup. They say my landings have gotten a lot less scary since I got off the glue!
That's wild man.
I KNEW you were a sniffer. Well, we all are.
My kid will LOVE this.
Very cool indeed Chas (@chasbunch). I like this very much. I think it's a good idea to deviate from normal builds once in awhile.
Love it, Chas! Superbly built!
Nicely built and a very interesting idea.
Very imaginative model, Chas (@chasbunch), and executed extremely well.
That's just too cool, Chas @chasbunch! 😎 😁 I'd say you win the internet for today! 🏆
Great! I suppose on landing it would go 'Boeing - Boeing - Boeing'!
Great!
