Scratch built German AA gun
Scratch built German Flak 36 88mm AA/AT gun. Copied from a 1/72 kit made four times bigger = 1/18 scale. Made from pine and ply.
Hi all,born 1947 in Grimsby,moved to Portsmouth 1950.Various jobs until I became a bus driver for 30 years.Started Scratch building models when I retired at the age of 59.I only work with wood.Married two children,three grandchildren.

Battleship Warspite
I scratch built this a few years ago,but recently spent some time improving it a bit.The hull is carved from a block of Canadian pine,the rest is pine too.Just under 3000 pieces of wood to get it looking like this.1/300 scale
